Did anyone else think this episode was stalled so that the explosion would occur on the 59th minute of the hour? What did you think about President Logan offering to help Jack? Do you think he has a hidden agenda?
Sorry, for the lack of notes…
Check out this episode’s recap on BuddyTV.

Lines and moments:
- “How do you feel about paper??” (Check out the Primatech company website)
- “I’m comfortable with morally grey.”
- “If she manifests, she belongs to us”
- “She’s better off thinking you’re a serial killer than the truth”
- Hiro was a cute little kid.
- Does Ted look a little Neanderthal to you?
- Claire, once again, endures the explosion of her own home.
- “I love you Clairebear”
Connections:
Claire’s home with her birth parents was in the building owned by the Petrellis
The pigeon balcony used to be where she lived with her birth mom.
Hiro’s father and Claire’s father were associates; Bennett reported to him.
Claire’s father and the invisible man were associates (prior to his permanent disappearance)
The bridge = the site where security breaches are ‘taken care of’
Claire’s father wasn’t so “bad” after all. He’s been trying to protect Claire’s secret so he wouldn’t have to return her to the company.
Misc.
Hana/Wireless has her own website with notes.

Post-Show
Watch the most recent Grey’s episode here on ABC.com.
ABC.com also posted the episode podcast with Shonda Rimes and Betsy Beers. They discuss last Thursday’s episode and the upcoming 3/15 episode. (Grey’s is on hiatus until then.)
BuddyTV posted Top 10 quotes from the episode and they are spot on.
Marti Noxon, writer/producer of “Some Kind of Miracle”, wrote her follow-up on the Grey Matter writer’s blog.
GreysAnatomyInsider.com has posted Thursday’s episode review, music, quotes, and pictures.
So, Meredith didn’t die. What did you think of this? It was a gutsy move on the part of the writers, but was it a risk worth taking? Do you think Meredith’s experience will change her or will she pass it off as a “dream”?

Kate Walsh
A local news show announced that there will be a Grey’s Anatomy spin-off to star Dr. Addison Shepard (Kate Walsh). Interesting!
When she first arrived in Seattle, I was not fond of her character. After all, she was the ex-wife and I had come to love McDreamy and Grey together. Over time, I have come to like her character. Who couldn’t help but laugh and feel sorry for her during the poison ivy scene?!? She is beautiful and strong, but alone (unless you count McSteamy, but he doesn’t count).
I’ve never been big on spin-offs (except for Angel), so it will be interesting to see what they will come up with for her.
What do you think about Addison leaving the show? What do you think the writers will do to expand her character into a full show? Or, what would you want to see?

*Spoiler Alert* if you have not seen Grey’s 2/22 episode
Two Deaths and Two Rebirths
I heard this spoiler report (2 deaths, 2 rebirths) last week after the epi aired. I knew Meredith was the first death and I was very hopeful Mer was one of the rebirths. Title character - she had to be, right?
It would just make sense because Mer had reached rock bottom and her experience with Denny and Dylan (aka TBD - The Bomb Dude) in “that place” would bring her back from “dark and twisty” and into the arms of her knight in shining whatever. At least, that was what I was hoping all week. As the episode started though, I had my doubts. I almost didn’t want to watch it to find out!
I actually didn’t enjoy the first 15 minutes of the show. Not because it was bad, but because I was afraid to invest any feeling into the show in case Mer did not make it. But then, I decided to give in. And, at that point, the show really started to get intense.
Moments in no particular order:
- “This is your afterlife, not mine”
- Addison saying “Prepare yourselves”
- “She’s freaking out”; “She’s not freaking out”
- “Sometimes, we’ll be in the same place at exactly the same time, and I can almost hear her voice”
- “I had intimacy issues- “; “Yeah”
- “Not that should be anywhere on your list of thoughts, but… in case you slip and fall later.”
- “For 99 cents you can buy furniture, that’s America man.”; “No, that’s Taiwan”
- New (or at least different) theme music - very tinglely and kinda ominous
- “Come and say goodbye to your friend” (Didn’t his lines make your heart drop right then?)
- 60 Days - “If I’m not having sex, you’re not having sex.”
- “I will kick your ass right now. I’m the one with the fresh heart!”
- “You’re gonna give me a run for my money” “yeah, I am”
- Chief saying goodbye
- Izzy/Denny moment “We touch”
- “It would be such a shame to waste all that history”
- “This is quality Sudoku… there’s like $2 worth of Sudoku here.”
- “How can you be a surgeon and have such little respect for life?”
- “Mom?” Didn’t everything make sense at that moment?
- Denny telling Mer how lives will and can change for the worse - George, cristina, Izzy, Alex, Derrick.
- Mer’s plea as she is running out of time
I love that the writers eased us into the beginning with humor (Denny and TBD’s exchange), then brought in the drama and emotion, and then brought the light-hearted banter back (Addison & Mark).
I looked up the writers for this ep and one of them was an all-time-favorite from BtVS. It clicked - no wonder I loved how all the moments came together. No one does life and death better than Marti Noxon. Okay, well maybe Joss Whedon
They’re both geniouses.
So if we have McDreamy and McSteamy… does that make Denny - McHeavenly?
