Finale,
SG-1
- Valla: The last time I was this bored I took hostages!
- Daniel Jackson (unfazed): I was there.
- Valla: You really don’t find me attractive…
- Daniel Jackson: Do you really want an honest answer to that?
(Some spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen the episode – Season 10/Series finale)
First reactions:
- I can’t believe this is the last episode of the TV series!!! (I’m not sure if DH is more sad that it’s over or me because I can’t see Michael Shanks/Daniel Jackson in any new episodes. Wah!)
- Wow, TPTB killed off the Asgard race.
- Arg, stuck in a time bubble – where’s MacGyver when you need him?
- Kameron running and running and running…
- Valla had to pick someone to hook up with…
- OMG – 20 years!
- Creative long-range shot of Carter playing cello while “looking into” the ship from space.
- OMG OMG – 50 years!
- Loved the time-lapse shot of the Ori fire getting closer.
- I enjoyed watching the team grow old together. As much as I wouldn’t want the series to end, they don’t look so hot as they “age”
- Such a “relief” to see them reverse time to their “present” ages.
- Carter: As difficult as it is for us not to know, it must be torture for you not to tell us.
Overall, I thought it was a satisfying ending, yet still sad that it is over. This season was rather “bland”, so I wasn’t expecting a huge finale. I hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next ‘installment’! At least Carter is moving to Atlantis.
