Heroes 2.1 – Four Months Later

Intriguing episode. (spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen the episode)

I definitely want to know more! Like, who put a hit out on Hiro’s father and Angela Petrelli – what were their powers anyway? Who was the black-hooded figure who delivered the hit and where did he go? He sent Ando (everyone’s favorite normal guy!) to get a sword, but I believe he had no intention of fighting back…

Hiro’s storyline with Kensei started off slow, but I’m sure it will be pivotal to the story.

What is with Nathan Petrelli and the complete fall from the public eye? What do you think it meant when he looked in the mirror and saw Peter’s face – burned and deformed? Surely he’s not Peter in the form of Nathan, right?

Claire’s struggle to remain normal – I will be disappointed to see her as only the normal teenager. I’m sure that will soon change. Especially with someone at school who also has a secret to share. It seemed he had good control of his flying powers. Hmmm…

Suresh – I love that he is trying to infiltrate The Company! Should be very interesting. So, when he speaks about a virus and “they bought it”, is there truly a threat to our Heroes?

Bennett - his “break” time tete-a-tete with the “Copy King”. Classic. Ironic. Their dinner time conversations – OMG – what a miserable life! Such a 180 from the father-daughter conversation next to the Nissan Rogue. Oops, I slipped that in. Tricky, no?

Molly’s dreams of the man who can see her – I assume he may be the initial antagonist. Possibly associated with the person/group who put a hit on Mr. Nakimura? Who the heck knows at this point LOL.

Parkman abandoned his wife and child to protect Molly. Of all the characters, his seems so out of place and disconnected. Perhaps that is why they ditched the wife and child? Unless he has them under some protection or something.

We also meet Maya and catch a glimpse (pun intended) of her potential power as she and Alejandro run to the American border.

No sign of creepy Sylar (if he hasn’t assumed another form).

Peter wearing the symbol necklace. What was he doing chained in a transport container? Who “sent” the thieves searching for ipods in in container 909?

What the heck happened in the last 4 months???

So, there are (some of) my initial thoughts from the episode. Did you watch the premiere? If you blogged about it, please add a link to your Heroes 2.1 post! I would love to read! Forgive my ignorance; I’ve purposely avoided spoilers over the summer, so I’m sure these questions have been posed or possibly answered.

I didn’t blog about Heroes. I’ve been blogging about Survivor and I’m about to do Pushing Daisies for the Disney Blog!

Anyway, I have the same questions as you about Heroes–what are the parent’s special powers? I know Hiro’s dad can fight like a samurai, but that wasn’t “hero” power.

My dh thinks the eyes Molly was seeing in her dreams were the eyes of the dead people the girl from Honduras killed. Remember the blood running out the side? Hmmm…

I haven’t watched 2.2. We’ll see…

Have you seen Powerless, the last episode for volume 2? It answered most of your questions I think. Except for the older generation’s abilities. Like Peter and Nathan’s parents and Hiro’s dad. They never really revealed it. Do you have any theories? Oh and yeah, I too would like to know the significance of that symbol. I’ve read articles saying that it’s a DNA strand. Because you know, the heroes are all genetically evolved.
